Starr Regional Family Practice announces that Kayla Walker, PA-C, RDMS, VT, MR, has joined its staff and will provide family medicine services to patients in Etowah and the surrounding communities.

Kayla will be a great addition to our team of family medicine providers who offer exceptional care, right here at home.”
Walker earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from South College in Knoxville, Tenn. As a physician assistant, her experience includes providing care for patients, aiding in diagnosis, and managing acute and chronic conditions. She provides family medicine, preventative medicine, women's health, Medicare wellness and cryotherapy services to adolescents and adults.
Walker also holds a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Science with a minor in Health Science from Georgia Southern University – Armstrong Campus, Savannah, Ga. She has more than six years’ experience as a sonographer and MRI technologist at healthcare facilities in Georgia and Tennessee. She has also worked as a certified nursing assistant, providing care to residents and aiding in activities of daily living.
She is an active member of her community, serving as a volunteer for the Good Faith Clinic, which provides free or low-cost medical attention and medication to patients in McMinn County.
